Build what
comes next.

From CUDA kernels to CNC controllers.
Deep engineering. Real-world purpose.

A strong engineering core

Understand the system.
Push what it can do.

We’re drawn to people who go deep: writing CUDA kernels, tuning GPU-accelerated computing, building CNC controllers, and making software work against the constraints of real hardware.

Our ambition spans AI agents and open-weight models, embedded systems and drones, signal processing and machine control. Intelligence that can reason about the world—and systems that can reliably sense, compute and act within it.

Different disciplines. The same standard: understand the fundamentals, measure what matters, and build something that works.

Who we’re looking for

Builders.
Investigators. Tuners.

Engineers who write and profile CUDA kernels. Who understand GPU memory bandwidth and numerical precision. Who build CNC controllers, embedded firmware and signal-processing systems. Who develop AI agents, train and evaluate open-weight models, or bring sensing and control together in drones.

You don’t need to do all of those things. We’re looking for real depth in your discipline, curiosity about the others, and the ability to show your work.

Integrity. Report what happened, not what you hoped happened. Admit mistakes, surface bad results and distinguish evidence from assumptions. We need to trust your measurements and your word.

Grit and persistence. Stay with a difficult problem. Reproduce the failure, isolate the cause, test a hypothesis and keep learning. Ask for help when it moves the work forward; change course when the evidence calls for it.

Efficiency. Respect compute, materials and everyone’s time. Find the bottleneck. Use the simplest sound approach. Know when an optimization matters—and prove that it helped.

What won’t fit

The first pass
is not the finish.

We’re not looking for people who call a demo done and leave someone else to make it reliable. We want people who profile, tune, test and simplify—who care how a system behaves under load, at the limits and when things go wrong.

Hiding failures, inflating results, blaming others or treating feedback as an attack won’t work here. Neither will complexity for its own sake, wasteful iteration without measurement, or endless polishing that never reaches a useful result.

Move quickly. Take responsibility. Finish the work to a clear, tested standard—and leave it easier for the next person to understand and improve.

Inference Engineer

Make intelligence fast, efficient and dependable.

Hiring plan · Not a confirmed vacancy. Location, employment terms and compensation will accompany an approved opening.

Your responsibilities

Own model-serving benchmarks, batching, KV-cache behavior, quantization and GPU memory use. Profile kernels and serving paths; improve latency, throughput and cost without hiding quality regressions.

Experience and evidence

Experience profiling GPU workloads and reasoning about numerical precision, memory bandwidth and concurrency. Bring a measured optimization, reproducible benchmark or kernel you can explain.

What success looks like

Reproducible quality and performance results, reliable serving under load, and lower resource cost per useful result.

How we work

Integrity in the results you report. Persistence through difficult problems. Efficiency with compute, materials and time. Measure, tune and finish beyond the first pass—and leave the work easier for others to build on.

Systems Engineer

Build infrastructure that holds up when things go wrong.

Hiring plan · Not a confirmed vacancy. Location, employment terms and compensation will accompany an approved opening.

Your responsibilities

Build Rust services, microVM lifecycle controls, networking, identity and deployment tooling. Own failure recovery, observability and interfaces across the cloud and edge.

Experience and evidence

Depth in Linux, networking, concurrency or distributed systems. Show a system you operated, a failure you diagnosed, and the tests or tooling that prevented its return.

What success looks like

Predictable deployments, tested recovery and fewer manual interventions—not just more infrastructure.

R&D Machinist

Turn uncertain designs into measured, repeatable parts.

Hiring plan · Not a confirmed vacancy. Location, employment terms and compensation will accompany an approved opening.

Your responsibilities

Develop setups, fixtures, CAM strategies and machining processes for prototypes. Work with engineers on tolerances, materials, inspection and design changes; improve feeds, speeds and repeatability through evidence.

Experience and evidence

Hands-on CNC setup and machining experience, sound shop safety practices, drawing interpretation and metrology. Bring examples of difficult parts, fixtures or process improvements.

What success looks like

Parts that meet their requirements, documented inspection and a process another person can repeat safely.

Applied AI Engineer

Turn models and agents into useful engineering tools.

Hiring plan · Not a confirmed vacancy. Location, employment terms and compensation will accompany an approved opening.

Your responsibilities

Develop open-weight model workflows, task evaluations and bounded agent-tool integrations. Build datasets, test failure cases and connect models to real engineering workflows with explicit permissions and validation.

Experience and evidence

Experience in model training, adaptation, evaluation or agent systems. Show what improved, how you measured it, and where the approach still fails.

What success looks like

Useful outcomes on representative tasks, honest evaluation, reproducible experiments and clear safety boundaries.
