Design for the process

CAD that looks finished may still be difficult to make. Sharp internal corners, deep pockets, unsupported thin walls, missing setup references, and unclear tolerances can all slow a job down. We flag those issues before they become scrap, delay, or surprise cost.

Useful inputs

Send STEP files, native CAD, drawings, sketches, photos, or an existing part. If the design has to fit another assembly, include the mating geometry or key dimensions so the manufacturing plan reflects the real constraint.

Good CAD/CAM work can reduce setups, make inspection clearer, choose a better stock shape, split a part into simpler pieces, or add a fixture feature that disappears later. For prototypes, those choices can be the difference between learning this week and waiting for a perfect but impractical design.
